Meredith HQ & Test Garden Tour

Young Professionals in Agriculture members had the opportunity to exclusively tour, YPiA sponsor, Meredith Corporation on Thursday, July 27th, 2018. Dave Kuerns, editorial content director of Successful Farming magazine, led the tour. He took the group through Meredith’s test kitchens, test garden, photo studios, and office spaces.

 

Meredith Corporation has made Des Moines the #1 city in the world for publishing due to its recent purchase of Time Inc. Overall, Meredith focuses on service journalism with an emphasis on food, parenting, and the home. The agri-media space, which includes Successful Farming magazine and Living the Country Life magazine, is a smaller piece of the company’s business.

 

Meredith strives every day to connect with millions of people through print and, digital media, and TV.
